Tonic is partnering with an incredibly exciting business that is pushing the boundaries of modern methods of construction.
You will be joining a start-up business that already has ten employees. They have come from across the world to create a specialist company that will focus on offsite construction. Having secured significant funding, the business is now ready to hire both a BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator.
We are looking for talented and ambitious BIM professionals that have either a background in engineering construction, architecture or have worked for a BIM consultancy for several years. These roles are for people who want to challenge themselves and work at the forefront of the digital technology field. You can be based anywhere in the UK but must be able and willing to travel to central London and the South West.
As the BIM Manager, you will be involved in the management and delivery of client’s information requirements on construction projects. responsible for design coordination, technical authoring, data verification and clash detection. You will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, either remotely or at design team meetings. Most importantly, you will be able to lead and develop a team as the company grows.
As a BIM Coordinator, you will be working on numerous projects at one time and be responsible for setting BIM protocol. In this position, you will be accountable for, building relationships and coordinating the BIM process through the full project lifecycle. Create adaptive components and custom Revit families.
Software and Knowledge
Must demonstrate current direct experience with the process, workflow and use of BIM & infrastructure analysis software of complex projects using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks (3D,4D), Synchro, Solibri.
In-depth understating of the current Level 2 BIM requirements.
Demonstrable understanding of project processes, workflows, contractual obligations.
Both positions offer vast potential to grow with a company that has ambitious plans. Their main office is in central London, however being a modern thinking company, they are open to remote working. You must, however, be prepared to travel.
